Cadillac CT6 to Launch January 27 in China

While here in North America we will wait (im)patiently until March, China will get the first chance to sample the new Cadillac CT6 when in launches on January 27.  The Chinese version is said to be virtually identical to the American form, albeit with a few different trim options.

The CT6 promises to be the new flagship sedan from Cadillac.  Cadillac has managed to make the CT6 8.5 inches longer, yet 44 pounds lighter than the current CTS model.  The CT6 is based on the new "Omega" platform.  This is made possible with more aluminum bodywork.

The CT6 will be offered with a new standard four-wheel drive system, and either a 3.6-liter V-6 or twin turbo 3.0 liter V-6.

Check back frequently at Gurley Leep GM Giant for availability of the new model CT6.

CTS-V: "Best Sedan America Can Offer"

Bloomberg Business offers up a glowing review of the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, calling it "the best sedan America can offer", and who are we to disagree?

Bloomberg notes the "grizzly bear" roar of the 6.2-liter V8 CTS-V, which is a wonderfully new sound for Cadillac.  And that roar comes from a 640 horsepower engine that the CTS-V shares with the Corvette ZO6.  All of that power has the ability to push the Cadillac to a top speed of 200 mph, with a zero-to-sixty time of just 3.6 seconds.
