Kelley Blue Book Names GMC 'Most Refined Brand'

GMC is back at again stacking awards for their whole line of vehicles. This time, Kelley Blue Book named GMC the 'Most Refined Brand' for 2016, marking GMC's third straight year receiving the KBB Brand Image Award. What is this award based upon? Kelley Blue Book bases it off of consumer perception data which they have acquired through their Insights' Brand Watch study. Brand Watch tracks the study through more than 12,000 in-market new vehicle shoppers through KBB.com. The study combines important factors such as influences in their purchasing decision and capturing the brand/model familiarity and loyalty among new-vehicle shoppers.

GMC Denali was the most successful, receiving the highest rating of all all SUVs. Among its highest ratings were comfort, interior layout, technology, prestige, and sophistication. This is not the first time that Denali has been praised in these awards, as KBB's users love this vehicle for it maintaining a rugged person that isn't offered by other luxury automakers.

The secret to the success. Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC, believes it is simple. "Premium quality and exterior styling are the top two reasons customers choose GMC vehicles, Aldred said. "Unprecedented refinement and attention to detail provide our customers with a truly professional grade experience."

Since the inception of Denali in 1999, over 850,000 units have been sold. This sub-brand of GMC accounted for 23% of GMC retail sales in 2015, producing better numbers than the luxury brands of Land Rover, Jaguar, and Porsche. Denali has stacked up many awards this year. Besides this one, it most recently was awarded the best car for families by US News. It is no surprise to us that GMC is being recognized again?. Is there even a vehicle that compares to it?
